Marathons. Disney. Medals. Free T-Shirts. Where can I get all these things at once, you may say. There is somewhere in this wide world of ours where you can run through the streets of a major theme park with thousands of other people, all having fun. Where is this magical place? Well, of course it must be Walt Disney World. I’ve never run a marathon before, but I can tell you, after learning about the many different ones they offer at my favorite place ever, my first will be coming soon. In this article I will explain the many different marathons they offer, and what’s in it for you runners, and those who have never run a mile in there life before!

The first one I will begin talking about is the one that is going on as you read this, the Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend! Its taking place from January 7th-10th and is sure to be a lot of fun. It’s a traditional marathon so it is 26.2 miles, i know, it seems like a lot to us, non-runners. But the pay-off looks amazing. Ok done with talking, lets see some pics! Though there is a lot of pics of the run itself, i think the most interesting and enticing part is the medals, so I will show you those.

The next marathon I will be showing you is the Disney Princess Half Marathon, which will be taking place from March 5th-7th.

The next is called The EXPEDITION EVEREST CHALLENGE And Will Be Taking Place on June 12, 2010.

The next is called the Wine And Dine Half Marathon and will take place October 1-2, 2010.

As this one hasn’t been done yet, there is no pictures of medals yet. The next two have been retired, but sound awesome nonetheless. The first is called the Tower Of Terror 13K.

And Finally, Disney Race For The Taste 10K.

All of the marathons come with the medal, and a free t-shirt. Isn’t that reason enough to do it? I know i will be doing it in the future, will you?
